Many manufacturing and distribution companies are usually not technology savvy and still maintain their operations based on Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. The humble beginnings of the startup many years ago usually are rooted in spreadsheets and word documents and many companies do not have the resources or the technical expertise to migrate to newer more advanced client management software (CRM) to track and manage clients or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software’s to manage their inventory and distribution systems.
Many clients do not have the luxury to spend millions of dollars in advanced ERP and CRM systems developed by the likes of SAP, Oracle or Siebel. Hence we have chosen few open source software’s, which can achieve the desired goal but also cost much lesser in terms of implementation and support.
